Discover how to use savvy marketing that achieves amazing results for your business using simple online tactics.
Whenever I start questioning my marketing budget, I go back to a story I heard about William Wrigley Jr., the chewing gum magnate.
He was travelling by train to a business meeting with his assistant and suggested that it would be a great idea to review the advertising budget. The assistant commented that he didn’t understand why they were advertising at all. After all, Wrigley sold more chewing gum than everyone on the planet put together.
Wrigley thought for a moment and then asked how fast the train was going. The assistant replied that it was likely about 40 miles an hour. “So why do they keep putting coal in the engine?” was Wrigley’s response.
With the absolute need for marketing now established, the question becomes are great marketing campaigns the product of genius marketing minds or are they the result of taking action on a great idea?

“Have you ever seen a particularly genius marketing campaign and thought to yourself, “Wow, why didn’t I think of that?”
When Oreo shipped that timely Super Bowl blackout tweet, you could practically hear the collective sigh of envious marketers everywhere. Other great marketing campaigns – like Dove’s “Real Beauty” campaign or Old Spice’s “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like” – garnered similar reactions.
Even for smaller brands, some marketing campaigns work remarkably among their customer base — while others are just sort of … meh. How can you set yourself up for success with every one of your campaigns?

Flip through it to learn helpful tips for how personalizing campaigns, choosing the right channels, getting the timing down, and delivering at scale can help your next campaign become a hit.”
I know at times the overuse of social media and new technology is just overwhelming, but if you apply specific tactics with chewing gum marketing for your business, you’ll be amazed at your results.
